Dsl Phone Jack Wiring DSL Question. In My Apt, I Have A Phone Jack In The Kitchen And Two DSL Plugs In Each Bedroom?

DSL Question. In my apt, I have a phone jack in the kitchen and two DSL plugs in each bedroom? - dsl phone jack wiring

Well, I'm excited for DSL. Anyone else have this setup? Yahoo DSL I called and said they still have to go through the phone line for DSL. But my computer in my room, through the production of ADSL, it seems much easier (and should be substantially easier to install for the company) Any ideas / help? Thank you very much.

Sounds like it Ethernet, DSL are not. DSL is performed in the same line as the phone in the apartment. Then you need a separate ADSL modem to the ADSL signal a normal telephone line signal. Then connect the modem via Ethernet cable to the computer or the modem to a router then to your computer. Ethernet ports are not used for DSL, unless there is another place where the boundary is divided into 2 signals, and the DSL signal is on the pedestal. You should consult your phone company and see if a previous installation had a separate line for DSL.

I'm not sure what you mean DSL connector. A DSL works. Data (analog) phone and DSL (Digital Data) does the same telephone line. The digital data at a higher frequency than the analog data to be effectively separated with two "channels". It is therefore necessary to install a DSL filter to filter out unwanted frequencies.

A DSL connection looks exactly the connection that you need for your cell phone. Use a phone jack to connect to ADSL modem and DSL modem to the computer via an Ethernet or sometimes one or the USB connection.

Technically, you do not need a DSL connection. They have a jack that both telephone and data leads simultaneously. (This is why they are able to use the phone and ADSL at the same time.)

I hope this clarifies such as DSL.

Call your ISP, you say what you want, and they take care of everything. They are the modem, configure phone, everything.
