Ouch. Electrical systems we do not care about the extra burden on all.
They are sufficient for the bike and not much else.

Check the first simple things. Start with the battery.
Give him a full charge and rest a few hours.
If you safely on your bike, that the connections are clean and bright pressed.
Then do a test load Quicky: Check the battery voltage. Turn on the ignition, check the battery voltage. Try to start, consider starting the battery voltage. Your first reading should be about 13V. Your second must be greater than 12 V, these are not be less than 11. If none of the voltages are low, killed his battery.
Replace with a new, fully charged before installation.
Before the purists jump - which is not really a load test by definition. This is a test voltage drop, but sufficient for our purposes.
If your battery tests good, it's time to check the charging system.
In other answers I do extensive testing.
I will do this, simply add more details. I'll be back to check.
The above test is not in the manual, I give the others are straight from the book.

What is the amp and / or up into the jacket? You may have fried the battery and and / or generator / alternator and does not begin before Christ. Cycling with a car battery, walking for 15 minutes, turn it off and get an hour and then try to start. When not working, the battery is probably toast.

If the battery was old and dying, for one, and touched something that this kind of heat that could simply the straw that broke the glass to be generated.

My guess is that the jacket draws too much current weak battery in this little bike, in fact I would put money on him.

Something like a coat attracts large amount of battery power, will probably also say that the battery for 88 cubic inch HD 4 times as large.

The battery terminals must not be sufficiently rigorous.
Tighten the screws with a wrench, not a screwdriver.
A screwdriver can not find it close enough - to make a bad connection and the possibility that the warming.
